Laura Cubitt - Actor / Movement Director

Laura recently appeared in the stunning one woman show, ABOVE ME THE WIDE BLUE SKY for Young Vic/Fevered Sleep. Other credits include WAR HORSE for the National Theatre, MOJO for Theatre Rites, GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM at the Chichester Festival Theatre, WOMEN BEWARE WOMEN at the National Theatre directed by Marianne Elliott and FAERIES at the Royal Opera House choreographed by Will Tuckett. Screen credits include ALICE directed by Marianne Elliott for Ruby Films/Film 4 and GRAVITY.

Laura is also an experienced movement assistant and puppeteer and she has just worked as the associate puppet director on the West End transfer of GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM directed by Angus Jackson and nominated for an Olivier Award. She worked on the movement for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics with Danny Boyle and was part of the movement team for the feature film GRAVITY directed by Alfonso Cuaron for Warner Bros.
